I’m a bloke who loves god, my family, short shorts and Red Wine. I’ve come from a background of landscaping and wine making, then I stumbled into wedding photography when friends asked me to photograph their wedding.
From that wedding 2 more couples then asked me to shoot their wedding, 6months later (with a bit of hustling) it became my full time job. Also I love canapés and people, and there is no better place to find those than at a wedding.
I married my wife Elizabeth in April 2017, I went into full-time wedding photographer in November 2017 and shortly after our son was born in February 2018. We bought a dog, got married, had a baby and started the business all in one year. It’s been chaotic and challenging but i wouldn’t change a thing. We have just purchased our first home in Margaret River and can’t wait to see what the next few years hold.
I have a more down to earth, journalistic and natural approach to wedding photography, I prefer to take capture the day from an observation perspective rather than inject myself into moments. Don’t get my wrong, I still love bridal portraits but we do these in a way that feels natural, comfortable, looks great and also a way that reflects who you are as a couple.
Basically I work well with people looking for a more natural, easy going and down to earth wedding photographer who will sink a few with you on your wedding day.
